I fabricate three-dimensionsal forms utilizing steel and or mixed-media. I am influenced by structures, vessels, elements of objects natural and man-made — as well as the forces and functions that can define their shaping. I draw my style from a mixture of the Supremetism, Constructivism, and the Futurism art diciplines. I do not seek to emulate historical samples from these schools of thought. Rather, I use them as a platform from which to develop my own unique sensibility and approach to conveying visual forms. This process affords me the freedom to create things that do not already exist, but whose nature can yet evoke recognizable sentiments.
